A Home for Creative Exchange
There are spaces we pass through, and there are spaces that hold us. M8triarch was created as a living home for artists, thinkers, travelers, and cultural wanderers. A a place to gather, to listen, to share work, to rest, and to be in conversation with each other.
As we enter the new year, we’re opening the doors more intentionally and deepening the programming within them. Below are the ways to participate, support, and return in the coming weeks.
The Salon — Softness, Sound & Gathering
Every Thursday & Friday · 7pm–12am · RSVP Required
(excluding private / hosted event dates)
The Salon returns as a weekly gathering centered around softness, sound, and creative exchange. Expect live art, spoken word, conversation, sensory listening, and an intimate tea room pouring throughout the night. Private room booking is also available for those looking to sink deeper into the evening.

Midnight Espresso — Jazz Night @ M8triarch

Midnight Espresso will be hosting its late-night jazz series inside M8triarch — transforming the space into a candlelit listening room for a small circle of guests.
True jazz-club energy: low light, close listening, cocktails or mocktails, and music guiding the night.
Ticketing & details are managed directly by Midnight Espresso.
Private Chef Dinners — Weekly, Intimate, Rotating
Our private dinner series continues with rotating chefs, seasonal menus, and intimate seating around the M8triarch table.
Upcoming: January 22, 2025 · Hosted by Rémi
Weekly dinners with rotating chefs will follow. If you’re a chef interested in hosting a dinner at M8triarch, you can apply to be part of the rotation.
Artist Atelier — Process, Presence & Exhibition
The Atelier has officially arrived. This season we welcome Ale D’ Afrique, who will be developing work inside M8triarch — culminating in an immersive exhibition to follow.
The Atelier functions as a working residency for artists developing new work in Lisbon — offering time, space, and a slower rhythm for process without performance.
Future Atelier seasons will open for application. If you’re interested in developing work inside the house:
Legacy Stays & Staying With Us
M8triarch offers a slower, more intentional way to experience Lisbon — one rooted in creativity, rest, and cultural exchange.
We now offer two main ways to stay:
Legacy Stay
Contribute now, stay later. No date required upfront. Valid for 12 months and transferable.
Legacy stays are a way to support the space and return when the time is right.
Standard Stays
Available year-round for artists, writers, and travelers seeking creative rhythm and spaciousness.
M8triarch Minifesto — Becoming an Association
M8triarch is transitioning into a cultural association. This allows us to:
- Support artists more directly
- Apply for funding and partnerships
- Expand programming and exhibitions
- Maintain accessibility and integrity
- Serve a wider creative community
As this structure takes shape, there will be ways to participate — from membership and founding support, to volunteering, to cultural collaboration.
Supporting Artists Directly
This season, we’re introducing a new way to support artists by project, exhibition, or need — both within and beyond the space.
Artists will be able to share their work and goals, and supporters can contribute directly to specific outcomes: studio time, framing, materials, travel, production, and more.
If you’re an artist interested in this model, you can begin here:
Ways to Support & Participate
There are many ways to support the evolution of this space and keep the doors open to artists and community: attending gatherings, staying in the house, partnering on programming, and offering direct support.
